Really - the wall was blank except for the glass block window (covered with black
plastic to prevent glare for photo. Three styles of painting are executed in this mural -
realistic, impressionistic and trompe l'oeil. The statues and the columns are painted!
The male statue is taken from Michelangelo's portrait of David. The female statue is
taken from an ancient Greek statue of the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite. The
background waterlily pond is in the impressionistic style of Monet. This is [\painted on
the wall directly above a garden tub and the oversized shower can be entered from
either side of the wall. Note the celing is faux painted with gold colorwash technique.
