| Mural Detail Ethan's "Wild Horses" 12' x 3' acrylic on unprimed canvas Ethan wanted to include wild horses running through a canyon, with a large horse in the lead! The beautiful and well-known rock formations of Texas' Palo Duro Canyon were incorporated into this original composition. Covering one entire wall of Ethan's western inspred bedroom, the canvas was hung using decorative western-style upholstery tacks, with the raw edges of the canvas exposed. When the wind blows through the open window at the end of the room, it creates the illusion of the horses actually running! |
